HILL COUNTRY BARBECUE MARKET REVIEWS
Such good bbq in DC! I’ve been here twice, and both times were amazing. I love their pulled pork and Mac and cheese. And their wings are amazing with such a nice smoky flavor. Everything I’ve gotten here has been great, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d come back many times.
Exceptional BBQ, spacious seating, good service. Extremely expensive, $20-40 per person. Walking distance to and from the mall. Recommend for tourists with a bankroll who are looking for something close to the major attractions.
The location boasts an appealing ambiance, with the cost of items striking a moderate balance between affordability and premium pricing. However, it falls short in delivering robust flavors.

DCITY SMOKEHOUSE REVIEWS
First time at this spot and it was on point. Be forewarned, parking is going to be a challenge but the food is worth the headache. We got the family meal...brisket, smoked wings, ribs, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was fire except the brisket. The brisket was very dry, but there was a flavorful bark. The wings were popping! A must have. Don't let the three stars fool you. This is a must hit if you are in DC. I will be going back soon to see if the brisket is better. This DC spot is Drip approved! Parking: Good luck.
Delicious brisket and daiquiris! Mac & Cheese had some spice to it which I thought was unnecessary Enjoyed the baked beans which also were amped up. Nice flavors there. Potato salad was hearty. The star of the show was the brisket … and the bbq sauce! The sauce is boss! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location on corner in the heart of it all. It’s not allowing me to post the video of the food … so yummy.
Great place for watching sports and grabbing a bite to eat. The service ?i fast and the food is good. The portions are really big. It's also good that it closes at 11pm for any evening snackers. Recommend.

FAT PETES BBQ REVIEWS
Very subtle place. Clean design and easy access, near the national zoo. Food is solid for a bbq place. For me I had the brisket melt sandwich with a side of hush puppies and a house salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The brisket was soft and tender, being a southerner, it was missing some more flavoring for my taste...added a bit of the vinaigrette and it had a nice bite. The house salad was simple and good and the dressing was just right and not to glaring. The hush puppy was not my favorite as it was dense and a bit bland for me. Overall good experience.
Had lunch without five kids and brother after a trip to the zoo. It was amazing—great and friendly service and such delicious food! Food Highlights were the pork belly and the collard greens. The bartender also put Bluey on the tv for our kids! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
I Loved this place. The platters are a decent price, the draught beers and mixdd drinks are on point. The service was outstanding and friendly. The owner treated everybody as if they were family or good friends. If you live in DC, make this a regular spot. If you come to visit and you want some good Bbq, definitely stop by. I did twice during my 3 days in DC.
