I've been going to Viselli for many years specifically to see Colleen. She's an AMAZING colorist and stylist. She's excellent finding out exactly what I want and then marrying that with the realities of what my hair can do. She never starts until we're both 100% clear on what I want. I've also come in several times without a fixed idea of what I wanted and let her use her creative freedom and I've always been thrilled. Colleen is also warm, funny, and a great conversationalist, so the experience being there is always great.
Jackie is the absolute best! She is so sweet and always goes the extra mile to get my hair to the exact color and cut that I want. I always wanted to have silver hair and was told by other stylists it would never happen but she is so talented and has gotten my hair to be silver without sacrificing the overall health of my hair. Truly so talented and a genuinely amazing person. Always feel so pretty and confident leaving her chair.

Joe did my hair color and it turned out amazing. He fixed all the color and did great job blending it. He fixed my hair color and did great job giving it a balayage like appearance. Joe is very hardworking and he’s given me great results that I’m very happy about. He also accomodated my busy schedule and showed up early for me. I appreciated this very much! The products he used are high quality and it uplifted my hair in every way. I’m so thankful for him and happy with the results! Highly recommend this hair salon and joe . Best salon in all of Boston! I have been coming here for years & will not go anywhere else. My whole family gets their haircut here too. Before I discovered George I had such a hard time finding a decent hairdresser that had the skill and patience to deal with my hair. It is very thick and long. George is great, he does an amazing job and never complains. I recommend him to all my friends.
Paula has been nothing short of incredible when it comes to listening to what you want and styling hair!! She is so welcoming and helpful and makes the whole process so enjoyable. This has been my go-to salon since I moved to Boston in 2022! I always go to Margarita for my hair coloring and she consistently does a splendid job each time. She’s so friendly and is wonderful at what she does; I absolutely love my red hair. Gio, on the other hand, is terrific and always understands how I want my hair to be cut. He’s extremely talented and I always trust him to cut my hair! These two stylists are the reason I get so many compliments about my new hair :) Grateful to the Gio, Margarita, and the staff at Avanti for being so reliable!
I recently got my hair done at Avanti for a bachelorette weekend, and it was better than great! I wish I could give more than 5 stars as a rating. Jay was incredibly sweet and helpful, not only this but checked in on me while I was at my appointment to make sure everything was going smoothly. I had my hair styled by Marguerite, who could not have been kinder and it looked amazing! Could not recommend a better place than Avanti on Newbury Street.
Avanti is a great salon right on Newbury St. The staff and environment there is so positive and upbeat! Everyone seems like they love their job! Alex is great and I always trust his recommendations, I come out of there feeling GREAT and my hair is transformed, and healthy! I Love this place!
