We stopped by during a game and our server was Charlotte. I brought my service dog, and she provided absolutely outstanding service - completely ignored him other than bringing water; and was attentive with both drinks and food. It always makes me a bit nervous bringing my service dog to new places, but this was an absolutely amazing experience thanks to Charlotte (and also the male host who sat us). We will definitely be returning. Thank you Charlotte!

We wandered into Steny's Tavern last night and I was going to get my usual wings but, last minute, decided to try the pan seared cod dinner with seasonal veggies. What I expected was a chunk of buttery, what we used to call poor man’s lobster and some wedges of cooked summer squash, zucchini and carrots. What I did not expect was this beauty. Perfectly cooked brussel sprout, flaky moist cod and a delicate and flavorful brown butter, wine and lemon sauce. The coleslaw was light and dilly. It may have been the best meal I’ve ever had at a bar and better than most fish dishes I’ve paid 3x as much for. I see you Steny’s.

Best Bloody Mary in Milwaukee, Friday Fish Fry, Milwaukee Preztel Company. All excellent! Unbelievably nice staff. Had lunch here back to back days. Felt like home immediately.
