Absolutely love this place! The hike takes about half an hour to get from Stough Canyon Nature Center to the actual Henry Cook Lookout Point. The view is absolutely amazing. On a clear day you can see out to the Pacific Ocean. There are two benches at the Point for visitors to enjoy the view and take it in. From there, you could continue hiking up to the Radio Towers, but most people turn around at the Henry Cook. Would highly recommend for hikers of all ages!
I visited this spot on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded. Great views of the city of Burbank. Sunrise or sunset is nice. 15 min walk on easy incline up to from the trail head. 1 bench to sit and no shade. I saw many small, lizards on the trail. Paths are wide it's like a "fire road".
Love this place. Go hiking up here all the time and watch the city. Good times!!
