This was a calm and peaceful way to spend some time in Thousand Oaks. There are several different gardens with different themes along with plenty of places to sit and relax. There are some picnic tables as well so you could bring your lunch here and eat in peace and quiet. We were visiting the area and looking for things to do when we found this place, it was nice to slow down and not be accosted by sirens and car horns!
Beautiful garden with pleasant staff. The fact that this is free is already a bonus. Give yourself time to relax, have lunch at their picnic area, meditate at the pagoda, listen to the flowing water, watch the koi. Everything about this place is wonderful. Thank you to the owner for sharing it to the public.
I really enjoyed the gardens. They were beautiful in winter, so I can only imagine what they look like in Spring. The place was just big enough for people who want a break from a long drive, or just for a nice picnic. It's very well maintained. The docents were very friendly and informative.
