Killeen Studio Architects

The team at Killeen Studio Architects was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I decided to build a house from the ground up. It was a challenging project as we both use manual wheelchairs so we wanted full accessibility without the hospital feel AND we bought our land in the middle of a historic district in St. Louis. Translation: challenges and red tape. We went through severl meetings with both the neighborhood and city board. Mike and his team helped us navigate those. KSA really cared about us and our wants and needs. They listened well when we brought up accessible features and did a good job of helping us marry those features with beautiful design. They have a great understand of historic neighborhoods and how to make design work. They continued to be of great help throughout the project with details or concerns raised either by our contractor or the city inspector. If you've never worked with an architect on a WHOLE project (like us new home buildiers) just budget in to keep getting invoices throughout the project. It's part of the process but was not something we realized at first. Overall, we were more than happy with their work and if we needed an architect again, we'd hire them in a heartbeat. Mike is excellent with being in touch with clients and also has good architectural vision to make projects work for clients wants and budget.

A very cool space and acomadating staff. They communicate very quickly through email and can work on a variety of projects from small to large scale.
