A Slice of Life Photography

Heidi was a wonderful photographer for our 2021 wedding. We had originally planned to get married in 2020 but due to the pandemic had to push back the date by a year. Heidi was super flexible and kind, and not only photographed our wedding but also engagement photos. I appreciated that we met in person before officially hiring her so she could get a sense of our style and what we wanted. Highly recommend!

A Slice of Life Photography is one of few photographers in San Diego County owned and run by someone with an actual degree in photography! Heidi’s skills are obvious in her photographs, which reflect her knowledge of distance, lighting and focus on the subject. Our portraits were her work, and even though they are a couple of years old (and we have changed), we still enjoy them and display them in our home. Heidi is prompt and her business acumen is recognized at many of the venues in and around San Diego County and beyond. We recommend her work without reservation.

Wow! Heidi has such a great eye for things. The detail she sees, the lighting, lots of fun in between shoots. She was reasonably priced, so we used her for four events: senior pictures, yearbook pictures, prom photos (totally awesome!), and Christmas pictures. Every one of them you want to frame. Yes, you can take pictures with your phone but if you want stunning quality, A Slice of Life should be your "go to"! Have a great event you want to cherish in the future?
