Old New York Deli & Bakery Co.

Great deli for breakfast. Although the restaurant does not have table service, the walk-up line generally moves fast. My favorite is the breakfast bagel sandwich (there is an endless choice of bagels). They also have a potato pancake(latke) with an excellent taste and a perfect texture(graded, not mashed or blended potatoes). While waiting in line to order, it is difficult not to be tempted by the incredible assortment of cookies and old-style east coast Jewish-American food products(Such as Fox's U bet chocolate syrup). The only negative is that this is very popular and gets jam-packed, but it has a small dining area(the good news is there is additional covered seating outside(in front).

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I got the early riser pastrami bagel on both visits. It needed some seasoning, but nothing some salt on the provided hotsauce couldn't fix. The ambience was casual yet elegant enough to impress business partners and definitely a better option than meeting at Starbucks or Panera. The staff was very friendly and even brought ordered food to the table, although they give you a buzzer/pager.

Breakfast & Deli sandwiches, fresh baked bagels, a huge selection of baked goods. There's nothing not to like except the prices. There a little on the high side.
