“It’s in the Sauce” catering has now done three reunions for our veterans group, and Wayne and his family continue to knock it out of the park every time. There are no fancy contracts, no drama, and no surprises—just a handshake, a date, and a headcount. I tell Wayne when we’re eating and how many mouths we need to feed, and he shows up on time, fully prepared, and ready to deliver. That kind of reliability is rare, and it means everything when you’re feeding a large group. The food is consistently excellent, the service is smooth, and the whole operation reflects pride, experience, and family values. You can tell this is a family-owned business that genuinely cares about doing things right. When you find people you can trust completely, you stick with them—and that’s exactly why we’ll continue to use It’s in the Sauce for future reunions. Highly recommended without hesitation.

The food was delicious. Some of the best barbecue I had in Ventura County. We got tritip and brisket. We also tried their berry and peach pie. It was so delicious.

Would 100% recommend. Everything was delicious. Especially loved the BBQ beans.

FAMOUS TACO BAR CATERING REVIEWS

This is a great local taco spot. We chose them as our caterers for our wedding. Would go back again to try more from their menu! We had the carnitas and chicken tacos which we really liked. Carne asada was solid! The al pastor is different but still a solid taco. Loved the beans. Rice was solid. Loved the mini conchas.

Food is soooo delicious!! Best menudo preparado the Mexican bread is also very tasty. Friendly atmosphere, very clean & welcoming. Come early for the menudo, it goes fast.

Really good food, customer service was great, the bread was so good also really clean environment too, overall 10/10 experience for you and the family.
