PARK STREET PASTRY REVIEWS
This is a nice hidden Cafe in downtown Olathe. It's reasonably priced and plenty of room inside and outside if you want to catch up on some work. Now I was there after 10:30 and it seemed pretty popular. Staff seemed all nice and professional. I got to watch one customer get upset because the person before him ordered the last Strawberry pastry. He started to take out his frustration on the staff, and they professionally handled this guy well. You could tell he was just having a bad day.
This place is so good. An excellent pastry bakery in the heart of downtown Olathe. Our family is a big fan of the breakfast sandwich. We also love the cinnamon rolls, cannolis, cream filled horn, and cookies. The coffee isn’t half bad either. I’d highly recommend checking this place out and supporting a local business.
Anything you get here you can't go wrong! The cookies and rolls are my favorites. Everytime one goes in he has something new and tempting to try. I drive 1.5 hours to go to this pastry shop!

PANERA BREAD REVIEWS
Great staff and service, from the attentive folks behind the bakery counter to the efficient people on the kitchen line to the alert woman who keeps the dining space in order during lunch rush. In the early mornings, this is a popular spot for Bible study groups to gather and for folks with laptops and notebooks to settle in at a table. At lunch, it fills with small groups of shoppers, local workers, and people meeting up for lunch to catch up. The lights are kind of dim, but there are windows too. Gentle pop plays from the ceiling at an inoffensive volume. There's always a medium low hum of noise from the chatter at tables or from work being done behind the counter. The tables and chairs are awkward and cramped at certain points in the room, in some cases making it hard to maneuver around when it's busy.
I enjoy eating at Panera. The service could use improvement. The people behind the counters aren't very friendly, and I wonder if it is because they don't speak English very well or understand it. This won't stop me from returning because I enjoy the food. And, the bread is to die for.
I called for the cinnamon rolls. They reserved them for me until I got there. And, wow were the rolls big, moist and full of frosting. Was delighted and will do another order soon.

YELLOW BRICK BAKERY REVIEWS
Very nice staff, clean space, and tasty food. The person at the counter was able to answer any questions I had about the food. They have an interesting selection of savory bakery times that I hadn't heard of, but looked amazing. I had a Croque Monsieur and a brownie and they were both really good, I'll definitely have to try more of their savory items. There is a small sitting area and they can heat up some things to eat there which I thought was nice. The only thing I could think of that I didn't like was that the writing on the display case was a little hard to read, I would probably go with cards with the name of the food and a short description and price in front of the food so that the information is clear and the person at the counter doesn't have to explain every item.
A parent donated sugar cookies from Yellow Brick Bakery to my daughter's Fall Class Party and they looked incredible. They were huge and topped with butter cream frosting and sprinkles and looked amazing. My daughter loved the cookie and I knew we had to make our way over to the bakery ourselves. I had also heard from a friend about them and how good they are---& locally owned by a couple. I finally made it over there a couple of weeks ago and got lunch with my son and some cookies. Everything was fantastic and we especially loved the mudslide cookies!!! Heavenly! Next I'm going to try their chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Can't wait.
This little bakery is such a gem! I have tried several of their treats and everything has been so amazingly delicious! I'm a true fan of the almond bear claw in particular! It is obvious this husband and wife team (and their staff) have a true passion for making the highest quality baked goods.
