Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

Visited whilst on holidays from the UK. Food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and helpful. There seem to be few places in the US where you can get coffee and cake and this was perfect for what we wanted. We also bought bread to take back to our daughter’s home and that was lovely too. Our only negative comment would be there’s too much single use plastic in use, (plates, cutlery, cup lids) but I think that’s a US issue. I’d definitely recommend Kneaders and would visit again when we were next in Surprise.

Staff are fast, friendly, and obviously enjoy working together and communicate well. Took a little while for the french toast, but that was because it was being made fresh. The potato bacon soup was heavenly, the sourdough bread bowl was soft, the french toast was sweet and fluffy, the strawberries were fresh. I love going here for sweet or savoury food. However, they DESPERATELY need to repaint those parking lot lines, they're so faded you can barely see the spots.

Cannot say enough good things about this place the people and food are awesome! So much better than Panera. My new go to spot when I want dessert and a sandwich and soup. Atmosphere is homey makes me feel like I'm back in my hometown of IL. The pies are amazing going to buy from now on for Thanksgiving.
