I have been working closely with team lead Emma Curtis for the past two years. She is the best lawyer that my family ever could have asked for. She has not only been on top of ALL of the paperwork and court filings, court dates, and trial settings- but she also truly cares about my child's wellbeing and has worked her hardest to ensure that my child does not have to suffer the rest of her life in a negative atmosphere. She is a positive, hardworking lawyer and she is the ONLY reason that I have been able to achieve everything in my custody case that I have achieved. In a few weeks, I will have full custody of my daughter and as a black man, this is a huge feat. I am in awe of the amazing work that Emma has done, but so thankful that my daughter will be in a much better environment with me- all the time. We have been working with Emma Curtis, who is a team leader attorney. She truly had her work cut out for her-- after our previous attorney with this law firm was released and Emma had to take over a difficult case in which my stepdaughter's mother has been incessant and will not give up, despite the evidence against her. We are dealing with a case that has much to do with the neglect of a minor child and will continue to fight until our child is living in peace. Emma has gone above and beyond to represent us, and even teach us about the law in Illinois and ensure that we have everything we need to help our child. Brittnee Hill has been amazing! There was some complications with my first attorney leaving Stange Law Firm then Brittnee was assigned to my case.
