Brian is a past president of the Denton County Bar Association, having left office in 2005, and is a current member of the Denton County Bar Association Real Estate, Trust, and Probate Law Section. He completed his JD at Texas Tech University School of Law, Lubbock, Texas, in 1987. He has been a member of the Texas Bar Association from 1987 to the present and served as president of the Denton County Bar Association from 1998 to 1999.
