Agree with other reviews that it FEELS like this practice is a bit difficult to get into; however, I followed their protocol by getting a referral first from my PCP. Once I did that, it was actually super easy to schedule. I've been in twice for thyroid ultrasounds and both were done by the doctors themselves. Today, I saw Dr. Sharmini and she was awesome! She is super kind, patient, and caring. I have a lot of shame and anxiety about some aspects of my health and always feel really, really bad when I see my PCP, but I truly felt great after today's appointment. So often practitioners just type on their computers and robotically ask questions, but she did not do that whatsoever. I felt heard today, and that's so important for compliance and managing your health! I am switching all my care over to this practice now and am excited to become their patient! All other employees here were also auper friendly and nice, which is definitely an added bonus! I also love that they have virtual appointments available for follow-ups - how convenient!! Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Sharmini Long is an exceptional doctor. Her professionalism, thoughtfulness, and warm bedside manner have made every visit with her a positive experience. I appreciate how carefully she listens to my concerns and how she takes the time to ask questions to fully understand my situation. She never rushes through appointments and genuinely cares about her patients.

Furthermore, Dr. Long responds diligently to phone calls and portal messages, even during off-hours and weekends. In addition, the convenience of having her perform ultrasounds herself has been invaluable, providing immediate results and feedback.

For any woman that needs a serious Endocrinologist- Dr. Gerard is THE bomb. She has been pragmatic, available, honest, and evidenced based. I cannot recommend her enough.

Doctor Lori Gerard is amazing! I had my thyroid removed 2 1/2 years ago and was struggling with getting my previous doctor to listen to me when I stated that I was not feeling well and that it all happened as soon a my thyroid was removed. Dr. Gerard fixed my issues in one visit. All I can say is that I wish I would have went to her sooner and not waited so long.

Absolutely love Dr. Gerard, I went into the office to talk about my hypercalcemia because my primary care doctor noticed that I’ve had high calcium for years. I was starting to get really worried. I was recommended to come see Dr. Gerard and have her take a look. She took an ultrasound of my thyroid, and did blood work to check my parathyroid function. When the blood work came back, she told me everything came back normal. Besides blood work, she did a calculation of my albumin to confirm my calcium level, that too suggests that my calcium is in fact normal. I figured I was fine since I haven’t ever had any symptoms of hypercalcemia. Thank you Dr. Gerard for your grace and care! I’m so relieved that everything is okay.
