This was my first office visit for a procedure I’m not really looking forward to (previously had one done a couple of years ago with another doctor). The staff is amazing…they make you feel very welcome and comfortable. They were all friendly, patient, & efficient…I can see why they received the many awards displayed in the waiting room. Thank you all for the nice experience.

My visit with Desert Gastroenterology was excellent and the receptionist was very professional and polite and my doctor is so awesome and cares about his patient and gives his best advice on what you need for your medical condition to help with keeping you in good shape and keeping you with a healthy life.

This was my first time getting endoscopy work done. I had a wonderful experience. I wasn't nervous and didn't feel anything even after. Thank you Doctor Makolou!.

Dr. Herrero is amazing! I am so happy I found him for my doctor. He is very thorough and proactive. He immediately identified my problem over a year ago. My husband was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge so he also went to Dr. Herrero and again, Dr. Herrero immediately knew the problem, and this was after two other GI doctors in the valley that couldn’t help him for any relief what so ever for 8 years. Dr. Herrero restored my husband’s digestive health. Six months later I ended up seeing Dr. Herrero again and had to have a procedure done. His staff set it up very professionally and were so very nice and explained everything to me that that I needed to do prior the procedure. I ended up having surgery during the procedure and Dr. Herrero literally saved my life. Many thanks to him to his quick response and knowledge. Dr. Herrero explains things to us so we can understand and know what to expect. He is very personable too. He listens to you and acknowledges when he understands what you are relating to him. Jonathan his nurse is very personable and knowledgeable too. He puts you at ease just as Dr. Herrero does. The front desk is always friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Herrero and his practice. Many thanks that there are doctors like him still around.

Dr. Herrera and the office team are very welcoming and professional. Dr. Herrero came in quickly and promptly determined my problem. Medication was explained and prescribed and medical testing was scheduled. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. I never waited during any step of the visit. Excellent experience.

I’ve seen Dr Herrero for 15+ years and would highly recommend him to anyone. He seems to be a very good Doctor and is also a nice guy.

I have seen Dr. Sivakumar for about 15yrs. He is the best! I have a lot of precancerous polyps. He’s removed them all. I used to go to another GI specialist & he missed several. Dr Sivakumar has actually saved my life. Sometimes you have to wait, but it is well worth it. He’s very thorough & takes time for all his patients.

Dr Siva and his staff are wonderful. Everyone there are very helpful. Dr Siva listens to you and takes his time to help you.

I've been seeing reviews about how horrible his staff is.. I have never had an issue with any of them and I think they are super friendly and helpful. I think Dr. Sivakumar is a great doctor.
