I don’t have enough kind words to say about Dr. Maher. He is wonderful. I don’t feel like a revolving patient while in his care. He is personable, he is supportive, he listens and he truly cares. I feel incredibly safe and comfortable being in his care and I don’t think I could have been luckier finding him.

Wow. Amazing doctor and staff. They all explained things very well, were very friendly and definitely calmed my nerves. He is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. I took the first appointment I could get at this office, and feel lucky that he is the doctor I was assigned to.

I have been going to Dr. Maher since moving to the foothills and I am so glad I found him. He spends time with you. Answers your questions and he truly is concerned. He definitely spends the time needed, with you.

Dr. Scates was one of the most personable doctors to work with. He was uplifting during my wife's labor. I just wish that I could stay in Sacramento so I could have him deliver all of my future children. My wife was very please and he always made her day so much better with his positive attitude. He made sure that he was there for the delivery since he knew this was our first child. Prior to this delivery, went through a miscarriage at 3 months, and he was our doctor then as well. My wife was devastated as was I. Dr. Scates was upfront with us, told us what to do, and kept us in high spirits. Every nurse at Sutter hospital had nothing but good reviews about him. I highly recommend him to anyone.

The best OBGYN ever. Office staff is always nice. I delivered now all three of my babies with Dr. Scates and would not trust anyone else. He is always willing to listen to your concerns and questions. Always calm and takes his time to make sure your pregnancy, delivery and recovery is going well. He will lay out options for you, but will never push you to make one or the other decision. If you are looking for a good doctor, well, you’ve found him.

Dr. Slack is so kind , patient, and incredibly thorough in every aspect of care. From the moment she comes in the room, she makes you feel comfortable and genuinely heard. She take the time to explain everything clearly, answers all your questions without rushing, and ensures you feel confident about your health.

So SO happy to find a Dr who KNOWS about perimenopause and doesn't gaslight her patients!!! She is willing to have a conversation amd LISTEN and come up with a plan together. She even provided me excellent resources, based in science, that I could do some research myself as well. She is a gem and I've given her name to many of my friends entering this stage of life. I'm so happy to hear she's now part of "The Menopause Society" and getting certified as a menopause specialist! More resources.

Dr. Slack delivered 3 surro babies for me. She is such a genuine, caring doctor. I feel blessed to have her on my team. I highly recommend her.
