“Miramar Pineland Park is a well-maintained trail park in Miramar, FL. This park is an ecologically and historically important site that combines the amenities of a regional park with the passive recreational opportunities of a nature center or natural area. The trail is a loop type and spans 3.0 miles in total length while having an elevation gain of only 16 feet. The trail takes approximately 52 minutes to complete, and the trail features a nature center that spans wetlands, flatwood, and prairie land with a boardwalk and trails. Miramar Pineland Park also has a haiku hike every April. This is a passive event where trail users find nature-based haiku poetry that relates to the environment along the trail. Visitors can explore a lot of rare and unique plants. Miramar Pineland Park offers free admission for children five and under.
