Rocky Mouth Trail Head is an excellent location for hiking, walking, and climbing. The trail is located 8.3 miles from downtown West Jordan. The walk is only about half a mile one-way, but it includes breathtaking scenery, including one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area. This is a 0.7-mile out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 278 feet. This is generally considered a moderately challenging route. The trail also provides various facilities, including kid-friendly hikes, to ensure the convenience of visitors. Rocky Mouth Trail Head is open year-round and offers beautiful scenery.

Bells Canyon Trail provides beautiful views of the waterfall and reservoir that are offered by this hiking area, with some challenging trails. The trail is located 8.2 miles from West Jordan. The trail is out-and-back with a total length of 4.6 miles. This is an easy-to-challenging route with an elevation gain of 443 meters. The trail is a great place to take a break, enjoy a snack, and soak in the natural beauty. The trail is easy to this point, but becomes a more strenuous hike up the canyon to the waterfall. Bells Canyon Trail also includes various amenities such as wheelchair-accessible parking, kid-friendly hikes, and public restrooms.

Yellow Fork Canyon is an ideal destination with a network of trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. The trail is located 10.9 miles from West Jordan. The trail is a loop type and takes approximately 3 hours and 21 minutes to complete. Half a mile from the Yellow Fork Canyon parking lot, there's a stunning 6.8-mile singletrack loop with 1,345 vertical feet of ascent, followed by a smooth 2-mile double-track ride to a beautiful picnic spot. The trail is a terrific place to spend time outside in any season of the year, with a bike repair station and plenty of parking. The trail also features various amenities like public restrooms, kid-friendly hikes, picnic tables, and leashed areas.
