“Lucy Park is a 178-acre regional area, and its natural setting is enhanced by the presence of towering pecan and cottonwood trees. The trail also includes a variety of other native and introduced tree species, making it a serene and picturesque destination. The trail has a 1.7-mile concrete path that circles the park for hiking and biking enthusiasts. The main shelter in the park has 20 picnic tables for 120 people and 15 tables for 90 people. A large pond area is dedicated to waterfowl, ducks, and geese, which can be found year-round. The hiking trail also features various facilities, including public restrooms, a large swimming pool, basketball goals, an 18-hole disc golf course, modular playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, and one concrete volleyball court. Visitors can enjoy the trail's attractions, such as a swinging bridge that spans the Big Wichita River and a scenic trail that leads to the Falls.”
