“Lucy Park is a 178-acre regional park nestled along a bend of the Wichita River. Its natural setting is enhanced by the presence of towering pecan and cottonwood trees, along with a variety of other native and introduced tree species, making it a serene and picturesque destination. The park has a 1.7-mile concrete trail that circles the park for hiking and biking enthusiasts. The main shelter in the park has 20 picnic tables for 120 people and 15 tables for 90 people. A large pond area is dedicated to waterfowl, ducks, and geese, which can be found year-round. The park has various facilities, including 2 public restrooms, a large swimming pool, basketball goals, an 18-hole disc golf course, 3 modular playgrounds, 2 sand volleyball courts, and one concrete volleyball court. Additionally, there are 5 smaller picnic shelters, 30 picnic tables, 34 barbeque grills, four drinking fountains, and 86 benches available for visitors. Visitors can enjoy the park's attractions, such as a swinging bridge that spans the Big Wichita River and a scenic trail that leads to the Falls.”
