I spend a great deal of time walking all the trails here with my fur buddy. When I first moved to WF people warned me about shady characters around there that can hang out. Honestly I have more at other places in town and all the people I have encountered have been nice and pleasant. Get out and enjoy one this town's best parks!
Very nice park too enjoy a beautiful day. There are lots of party areas for the kids and great trails to get some steps. From the rope bridge over the creek to the artsy structures along the trails. There is something here for everyone!

LAKE WICHITA PARK REVIEWS
Nice place, well organized. There is one public restroom, and tables to have lunch or dinner. There is also a fitness spot. If you bring your kayak you can go easily on the lake. Plenty of space for a picnic and to let the kids play. There's an hill you can climb on and enjoy the view.
I can't visit Wichita Falls without climbing the hill at Lake Wichita Park. It's been a 10 year tradition. Also a safe, clean and pet friendly park by the lake to enjoy with family.
Beautiful walking/biking path next to the lake. Brand new monument honoring Veterans. Playground for kids to play on.

WICHITA BLUFF NATURE AREA REVIEWS
I used to enjoy hiking through here before the paved trail was added and I found many hidden treasures. Although I miss that experience I was stoked when the trail opened finally and it still retains all of it's natural beauty. One of my favorite places in town.
Nice place to eat with a view. Paved walk/bike paths. Clean with a covered picnic area. Part of the many trails in Wichita area. Def worth the stop to complete your trails journey or to just see the view and eat a snack. Family friendly with wheelchair access.
My mom and I love these trails, as a younger kid, we would walk the trails way before 2016. Just a great place to capture the beautiful scenery and nature. You can get a lot of beautiful photos if you're into photography like me.
