This is a beautiful paved trail, whether biking or walking. I do both multiple times weekly. It's about 10 feet wide, so plenty big for the whole family with wagons and all. You'll see beautiful wildlife with nice flowing water, plus it's not so crowded like downtown Austin, even on weekends. It connects to the brushy creek trail, which is equally beautiful. If you go that far, you'll find multiple community parks and spots to jump in on the trail along the way. I went 14 miles total yesterday but wimped out if you're looking for more distance. Also, you can hop off the trail, have lunch in downtown Round Rock, and get back on the trail with little traffic but plenty of traffic crossings.
Nice little historic park where we stopped to stretch and relax while driving through the area. Short walking trail, little waterfall, and story plaques telling the history of the site. Sweet little park. If you walk into the wooded trail be careful, I found poison ivy. Im allergic and always on the look out, just don't touch it. Still, very much worth the visit.
Trail was veeery short but nice and quite and easy to access. If youre looking for a workout spot this isn't it, but a nice place to have a picnic in the middle of a creek then this is definately it, you'll just have to go a bit off trail. Absolutely beautiful.
