This is a National Monument. I did not know! Therefore, a visitor center, super helpful volunteers, big parking lot, clean bathroom. Cave trail was super cool. We were there end of! He day, lovely. Do not leave after sunset!! They will Ticket you!! The other trail up into the hills was super cool. Easy gravel path. We saw an oryx, very cool big animal! This trail was perfect weather in December, but I can imagine summer is awful...
This was a very fun and scenic trail : ) We saw some gorgeous deer walking parallel to us near the top, and the historic buildings were so cool to look at! There are benches throughout that allow you to slow down and take in the sights and the path itself isn't that hard to walk. It was a very great experience and I'd love to go again someday.
This place is so beautiful! Park rangers were very friendly and helpful. Wildlife is abundant in the mornings. If you're into birdwatching, this is a perfect area. Dripping springs trail is a little difficult especially if you're out of shape like me, but, the views make it worth it.
