My favorite park in east county. Lots of fuana and trees . With a creek that had water all year around. Tons of bikes and hills and trails and playground for the kids. A old ball park . And lots of picnic tables. With a old-fashioned swing set set high to get some great singing in. " only one I now know of" . Only $3 a day. Tons of parking. Had some beautiful weddings and baby showers here. Has a natural feel to it. Mostly all shaded. With lots of oak trees. Definitely worth visiting. Dog friendly. Woof.
Pretty little park. Virtually empty due to the pandemic and it being close to sunset when I came by. They clean the benches once a day and the bathroom was open. There is a small creek with multiple bridges over it. There is also a hiking trail. They did have a park ranger posted at the entrance to make sure that you pay the $3 day use fee.
What an awesome county park! They have a wedding gazebo in a great setting, plenty of parking for guests, room to relax in a natural place. Parts of the park I didn't have time to investigate but plenty of walking trails. Quite unexpected but would visit again in a heartbeat. Worth the journey.
