Beautiful spot for mountain biking and hiking with great views! This is a sweet little "secret" that is quickly becoming a popular trail system. Hikers beware: this spot is VERY popular for mountain biking. You'll be negotiating with them quite a bit. But it's easily worth it for the views of red-hued mountains and the Salt River.
Trail is about 7 miles and pay attention to navigation as you can easily end up on another trail. Everything seems to link back up but will make it much longer. Moderate hike with some narrow paths. Saw more bikers than hikers. Pretty scenery, park across street & bring plenty of water.
Beautiful hike, pretty long at 7 miles and the trail pretty skinny with navigating the mountain bikers. I saw several areas where if timing was off there would be a accident. We went at the end of March, lots of flowers blooming, it was awesome.
