It was such a beautiful fall day! The trails were labeled and an easy hike. One of the trails lead to a beautiful pond. The park is open from dawn till dusk. There are a couple picnic tables on the outskirts of the parking lot and just inside the start of the trails. Porta potties are to the left of the trails, regular and handicap accessible. I would recommend these trails!
Wonderful nature preserve, with various trails, bridges, benches, low areas where creeks start, and even a good-sized pond. Good amount of parking w/bathrooms nearby, and an information center where you can pick up pamphlets. Maps and markers make it easy to tell where you are, as well as length of the trail. I found it a peaceful way to start a busy day. I spent 90 minutes and walked every trail; also stopping at the pond.
Nice nature oasis ! The trails are well maintained with the wooden ramp , some part can be muddy . Very calming and pleasant. If you are looking for a nice nature/forest type of immersion while still in the city this Nature preserve it’s the place for you !
