Moccasin Lake is a nature preserve that was opened in 1982. The Nature Park provides guests with a unique environmental experience. There is a 51-acre nature preserve with trails and boardwalks. It is the place for several injured birds of prey. Under a canopy of mature oaks and across ponds and creeks, with an array of wildlife, including gopher turtles, raccoons, and many birds, the park offers classes, programs, camps, meeting/reception rentals, and indoor and outdoor meeting spaces. The Park is a 44-acre preserve with access to a multi-use trail, and the park provides flood management. Cliff Stephens Park includes trails for bicycling, hiking, and inline skating, as well as opportunities for boating, fishing, frisbee golf, a 19-station exercise course, and a picnic area. The park has natural sights, such as birds, occasional alligators, and multiple varieties of trees, ducks, possums, raccoons, and rivers.
