A wonderful location and incredibly helpful staff! Every staff member was friendly, professional, and personable. Even when we arrived close to office closing time, the rangers and staff members went above and beyond to secure our camp spot and answer any questions. They are the best!
Public access to walking trails near a scenic lake view. This area is complete with picnic tables, fire pits, and public restrooms close to the water. There is another entrance to Standley Lake further down the road, however, that entrance/parking area chargers a $7 fee while this entrance is free.
Lots of rabbits and groundhogs. If your lucky you might see a coyote running around. Great lake for camping or boating. Only a few miles from the highway. Usually really quite. Enjoy and relax and sounds of nature. Also, there are many trails.
