Swagat Indian Cuisine

This restaurant was quite nice. San Fran has like a thousand Indian restaurants and if you do not maintain quality economic pressures will force you shut. The ambience and table staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ordered ginger Cauliflower, Aachari Chicken, Dal Makhni, assorted bread basket, dahi chat, and Aachari Paneer. The Aachari Paneer was very good. The entrees were also very good. Breads were soft and very fresh. Overall very good, clean environment, and I will certainly visit again to try other dishes.

We had an early dinner so the place was quiet. The mango olive salad was delicious. The Khata Metha Baigen (baby eggplant) was superb. The presentation was extraordinary with edible flowers and garnish. The timing of appetizers, salad and entree was impeccable.

It’s a yes for us. Goat curry, butter chicken, fish pakora, rice, naan&mango lassi. Delicioso! Tried lunch buffet too&that was very good.
