Very authentic and delicious food! I will say as a vegetarian it was kind of hard to find items to eat but they did their best to accommodate us. We were still able to get a good set of food. Super sweet staff and super good food! Overall amazing and definitely would recommend!

we always come here when we don’t want to think about what to eat. This is a solid homey spot in the gables for sushi. It’s hard to find really good Japanese spots without spending a fortune so I’m so grateful to have found this beloved mom and pop shop! You can tell a lot of regulars come by. I love the soba noodles, the hand rolls, and their soups are shockingly good.

Su Shin Izakaya never disappoints. We have been eating at this place for about 15 years. This is one of the few places with authentic Japanese food (no cream cheese!) My favorite, the “Kaisen Don” is a must if you are into raw fish. Comes with a variety of fish and shellfish on a rice bed with grated egg. Fresh and yummy! So many other dishes that are fresh and delicious. They even have desserts as my dad always says “anything that is fried tastes amazing”. Definitely a place to check out and make it your favorite.
