SHIMA JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Shima is a secret gem and it's really cool. The food is delicious and you can see them on the boats as they go by if you don't want that kind of experience. They do have a menu though, so you can order exactly what you want. I've been there more than 10 times and counting and it hasn't disappointed me yet at all.

Such a fun place. Sushi floats by your table on tiny boats You grab the plates off of the boats. Every dish was better than the next. Rolls, gyoza, shrimp on a stick. Dragon rolls, seaweed Salad calamari. It's amazing. Prices are very reasonable. Food is excellent as is the quality of the food.

Super fun!!! Definitely will return. The sushi is extremely fresh and everything moves so there's no fear of anything floating around to long. Service is good and fast. Loved it.

Been here times before. Last time, I had a bad experience. The waiter looked unhappy and bothered and brought me the wrong beer, and still wanted to charge for the correct one, it was a mess, the kitchen was also not up to par with their normal quality. This past week we had Sebastian as our waiter and he really took care of us. We had a good time and we're happy with our service, he went above and beyond. The food was also delicious. I recommend coming here.

Was serviced by Kimberly tonight and can truly say it was an exceptional experience. A server who knew her menu and when told about allergies knew what items to recommend. Overall, from her attentiveness to job knowledge - I can say without a doubt that she is the one you should ask to be served by when you go next time. Thank you Kimberly.

Great food, always fresh food. Tasting is amazing. Great staff. Price is ok, like everything else has gone up, so not their fault. I have noticed the last 6 months every time I go my bill gets higher. but that's just in general.

Super great place with the absolute best service you can experience. Food is always delicious and top quality. My favorite place to go out for dinner by far. The picture attached is midway through eating, portions are beyond great for the price! Usual additions also include nori and vegetables.

Very authentic and delicious food! I will say as a vegetarian it was kind of hard to find items to eat but they did their best to accommodate us. We were still able to get a good set of food. Super sweet staff and super good food! Overall amazing and definitely would recommend.

My No. 1 authentic sushi spot every time I'm in town. Wether it's me celebrating a milestone in my career or my first meal off the plane this joint NEVER DISAPPOINTS.
