Step inside the Fontana Historical Society's small research library building. It is manned by a small group of dedicated volunteers who grew up and still live in this city and who will make you feel quite welcome. They are always looking for new members. In other words, sure hope you will donate your time because there is always way too much to accomplish. This building was originally the real estate building for promoting moving to Fontana at the turn of the 20th Century.

I LOVE this library. I have a toddler and they provide FREE class's (they just read a book, sing songs, dance and get a little free play) but my son doesn't have kids his age to play with so he interacts with some here. Plus they always have FREE activities going on. I've been to the Christmas time event they had and we got to see darth vador and Princess bell, another was on Dr.Suses bday we saw Cat in the Hat and thing 1.. also went to NEW BOOK FESTIVAL it was Free and Awsome.

In order to enjoy this small museum, it is necessary to arrange a tour by one of the members of the Fontana Historical Society. Their members can be found diligently working on community projects in their own research library, a small, historic building in downtown Fontana. As told to us by the docent who escorted us, this was once a home owned by Fontana's founder, A B Miller. The home, hidden in a humble, nondescript neighborhood, is not located near their research library.
