Republic of the Rio Grande Museum is a historic house museum in Laredo, TX. The Museum occupies one of the oldest buildings in the area, which was constructed in 1830. The Museum's mission is to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for its visitors. I would call it a hidden gem here in Laredo, has some great information about Laredo, but what I enjoyed was all the artifacts they have there. Streets of Laredo by Marty Robins would greatly add to the atmosphere!
