BORDER HERITAGE MUSEUM

Border Heritage Museum is a two-story large building restored, built in the early 20th century. The majestic buildings in the early 20th century that populated the District of San Agustín. The block with several historic properties is located just east of the Cathedral of San Agustín, the oldest landmark in Laredo. The house was designed by a local businessman from Laredo and served as the home to two prominent families. The restoration project maintains much of the original architectural exterior character while turning the interior into a modern showcase for exhibits highlighting the history and culture of the area. The museum changing displays and educational workshops, highlighting the region's history, community, industry and population.
