Becoming a first time mom was scary at first because I was over 1 thousand miles away from family and close friends. I searched black doulas and came across Marquisha. Our first meet up was so amazing and instantly we clicked. She gave me insight on so much information I had no idea and helped me find the perfect midwife to birth my daughter at home how I dreamt. Marquisha was there every step of the way and still assisted me while being sick the day my daughter was born. She truly has a heart of gold and will go to bat for her mommas. Anyone who comes into her care will in great hands and I would recommend her to anyone!
I couldn’t tell you how wonderful my experience has been with Marquisha as my doula. VERY, VERY knowledgeable and helpful throughout my pregnancy process from prenatal advice into labor. While in labor, she helped me and my partner through any intervention that came up. She advised many strategies, positions, and advice that helped us. I couldn’t tell you how glad we were to have Marquisha! Even in the difficult times she was going through she provided exemplary service. Definitely recommend her services!!!! Don’t have to go looking for a great doula in DFW because she is what you need!
