They have a huge performance hall, and every music instructor I've come across has a genuine quality of care behind their teaching. My 3 children have been taking piano class in the Chandler location for about 6 months now, and I'm very impressed with their love for playing the piano now! Michael has even published his very own piano books for the kids. It's far better than the old and boring traditional piano books. Michael has such a passion for music and teaching. It is very pleasant to see. Thank you.

I was looking for a music school near me and found East Valley School of Music! LOVE the attention to detail our 3 children receive here. They all take piano lessons here, but I've seen drum lessons, singing lessons or voice lessons, and more I'm sure. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for a good quality music school.

I have been so impressed with the teaching as well as owners of East Valley School of Music. I have a little one with sensory issues and music is such a wonderful outlet for her. The owners Mike and Tabitha have been nothing but caring for my family and our needs. I will always refer anyone I know to their school.

The owner is friendly and knows me by name. The cello instructor, Natalie Browning, has raised my ability to play the cello beyond all my previous instructors. She has refined my intonation. And when I am struggling with a technique she comes at the topic from a different angle to see if that way of instruction works better for me. She is patient and understanding. She has many tips for how to improve and become a polished cellist.

What a great experience for a first timer! My son decided to take up the trumpet as he enters junior high and we scheduled a first lesson with Andy. My son is usually pretty shy and takes time to warm up to people, but Andy did an incredible job making him feel welcome, comfortable, and celebrating his new interest in music! My son walked out with the biggest smile on his face and it lasted all the way home. He said Andy was great and he can’t wait to go back for his next lesson. Also worth mentioning was that Bobby, who got us started with renting the instrument, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made the whole process so comfortable. I highly recommend this place and Bobby and Andy specifically.

San Marcos music academy has been a perfect fit for my 6 year old son. Melanie, his piano teacher, is an expert at working with young children. She motivates him to improve and I’m so impressed with everything he has learned this past year. Melanie communicates well and is prompt and consistent with her students. I would highly recommend San Marcos Music.
