MOUNTAIN MUSIC PARLOR REVIEWS

Small business that's better then the big stores. They had a dog (which I loved) and the whole store was filled with unique decorations and instruments. I ended up getting a violin from them, it was great quality for what I paid for. I added a photo of the violin, and they were able to give this to me WITH CASE for only $400. The big stores like absolute music were charging $800 for a used violin without a case, so its absolutely worth it to come here. Not only that, the people running the store were very nice, offering us lemonade while we were talking and so much more. Cannot express this enough, come here if your looking for really any instrument. Even if they don't have it, you wont regret coming here.

We had an awesome experience here. Personal service and an invitation to come back to the jam sessions. The instruments are beautiful and of wide variety. It's worth following the signs off S Virginia and taking a peek.

Best music store in town. I went in for strings and they had a ton of variety and knowledge, along with plenty of amazing instruments and accessories. I can't wait to return so I can brwose more. Staff were very nice and welcoming, I've found my new place for all things music.

JAMPRO MUSIC FACTORY REVIEWS

This music school is so wonderful! My son has been taking guitar here for over three years. They continue to develop and inspire him. Their recitals are unlike anything available anywhere else. They create a top of the line professional concert experience with lights, a stage, screens, videos. It really boost confidence and makes them want to continue. The teachers have all been amazing and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. You may pay more here than traditional lessons, but it is totally worth it. Especially if you have a child who is very motivated to expand their craft.

I'm not a full customer yet but I've been inside and chatted. The selection looks pretty good a lot of Yamaha guitars but that's fine for the clientele they service i.e. band kids. The lessons are pretty affordable 400 for 10 hours.

Always friendly. I love bringing my 2 year old to the Early Childhood classes.

I have started Bass guitar lessons and have enjoyed every one. Tim is a great teacher and patient. Especially with my limitaions. Having Severe RA and Parkinson's makes learning a stringed instrument challenging for both parties to say the least. I have also placed equipment on consignment and have no second thoughts. I sold equipment this way in the past and they are very competitive. Yes they are a distance to get to but it is worth it all around. As it has been a year I would like to say after continuous lesson on the bass and numerous items sold and bought this store is the finest music store in Reno. Maybe not the largest but Tim Lake makes it seem bigger than it truly is. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. If they don't have it they can get it. They kept me coming back.

This is a great music shop. The owner and staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. They have a nice selection of guitars and amps. Everyone is happy to answer questions and I have always had a great buying experience here. I also take lessons at the store and not only have I gained a lot of ground as a musician, I have had a blast while learning.

One of the best little music shops in Reno. Doors are open 6 days a week for lessons, gear, supplies, and friendly conversation. Has never let me down on any of the above.
