“Dr. Eric K. Oberlander is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He earned his medical degree and completed his neurosurgical residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Eric K. Oberlander’s primary goal is to treat spinal conditions using conservative, non-surgical approaches whenever possible. However, when surgery is necessary, he utilizes the latest advanced techniques in laser spine surgery and minimally invasive spine procedures, including treatments for complex spinal conditions. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Eric K. Oberlander serves as the team neurosurgeon for the LSU Athletic Department and maintains a strong interest in concussion prevention and research. He is currently accepting new patients at The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge, as well as at his neurosurgical clinics in Hammond and Covington.”
