3 Best Neurosurgeons in Buffalo, NY

20 years ago, Dr. Gibbons did a discectomy and fusion cervical spine for me. Until my life changed and I was under a lot of physical pressure I had no problems whatsoever I was able to become a CNA six months later with no restrictions as far as lifting patients, etc.But in recent years, I had to do a lot of lifting and I ended up with a pinched nerve different discs caused pain, weakness, tingling, etc. I just had a second discectomy And fusion with Dr. Kevin Gibbons. I saw some reviews concerning clinical time spent with patients. I don’t feel that way. His office Staff is fantastic . They are very accommodating treat you with respect and give you plenty of time for questions and answers when you see Dr. Gibbons. He is the surgeon and I see him for his expertise in the field He is very congenial , respectful and busy, but he does give you personal time and he has an excellent bedside manner. Just two days post op I have high expectations for my future, grateful first to the Lord Jesus Christ, and the ability he has blessed this doctor with Very grateful to Dr. Gibbons as well.

I highly recommend Dr Gibbons. My initial visit he took the time and listened to me without rushing me. He took into consideration all my extensive orthopedic history as well the symptoms that brought me to him and recommend the necessary testing to rule out any other possibilities before recommending spine surgery/ACDF. He was professional yet caring. I ended up having surgery which has relieved many of my pre surgical complaints. I have nothing negative to say and would and have recommend him to many. Side note- His office staff has been nothing but helpful and his assistant is also top notch in every way. (Kevin) he was patient and kind and highly informative answering all questions asked. I felt more than confident in all my follow up appointments.

Dr Gibbons and his talented and dedicated team literally saved my life when I had a intraspinal E.coli lesion above my my c-1disc. But, I worked at Buffalo General Hospital for many years and knew for a long time that if ever I needed spinal work, he would be the “go to guy”. I do have my challenges but I’m grateful to him and his very capable and kind staff. You “rock “ doc. Monique Reding.

Dr. Fenstermaker gave me my life back and is definitely an OG in his field. A year after my brain surgery for a meningioma at the base of my skull near my optic nerve, neurologists here in Florida are still surprised by how beautifully he reconstructed the bone in my head and that I still have feeling on the left side of my face. You can barely even tell I had surgery. My MRI came back normal, and I truly thank God and Dr. Fenstermaker for such an amazing outcome. I will forever be grateful for his skill, care, and compassion.

The BEST of the best!! He removed ALL of my brain tumor/cancer and I am FIVE years stable because of him and his team! My family and I are so grateful for his brilliance.
