Smith obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, and he did his internship and residency of Neurological Surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has been in practice for more than 20 years, and he has clinical interests in performing degenerative disease treatment, brain tumors, and herniated disk surgeries. Dr. Howard also has special interests in providing treatments using minimally invasive methods for treating complex brain and spinal conditions.
