“Dr. Kraig M. Burgess completed his medical training at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general orthopedics, followed by an additional fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he gained extensive experience in trauma and reconstructive procedures. His area of interest is in treating traumatic, acquired, and reconstructive conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Dr. Kraig has been involved in both clinical and biomechanical research. He has also presented nationally and lectured on topics ranging from joint replacement to carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Kraig focuses on patient education and decision-making. His goal is to educate the patient and allow them to make informed, educated decisions regarding both their surgical and nonsurgical treatment options.”
