Dr Johnson was wonderful. Obviously very knowledgeable and skilled, but also quite personable and easy to talk to. He is very caring and included me in every step of the planning process. He and his staff have been amazing so far and I would recommend them to anyone.

I can't believe it I have been with Dr. Johnson For over 12 years. Doctor doctor Johnson is a wonderful doctor he listens to your issues if you're physically having problems he just doesn't try to solve them By giving medication.... he goes to the rout to see what the best action is definitely keeps me grounded. I have been to doctors that will just give Me Too much medication! Doctor Johnson will not budge He will not give you any more than you absolutely have to have sometimes I wish he would and fortunately he will not but I'm grateful of that.

Dr Johnson was on point with what needed to be done with my herniated L5-S1 disc. Had the same bulging disc back in 2002 and Dr Johnson's prognosis was exactly the same as that Dr back in 2002, epidural... That epidural in 2002 worked for 19 years, hopefully this one does the same as I will find out in 2 weeks.

Dr. Ackerman is simply the best in his field! He not only has the knowledge to provide services to his patients they need, but he has the heart. Dr. Ackerman was able to find issues in my mother's knee that over doctors had missed. Thanks to him, we were able to resolve the issue quickly and come up with a plan to keep it from occurring in the future. He was truly an answer to prayers for my mother's health! She now feels so much better all thanks to his determination and compassion.

Referred to by my orthopedic doctor for pain management. Dr Ackerman is truly a fantastic doctor. I was scheduled for a epidural and was feeling very uneasy. He was very patient and explained everything thing that was going to happen. During the whole procedure he kept talking to be in insure I was doing good. I appreciate his professionalism, care and skill. He by far is a outstanding example of what a doctor is or should be. Kudos to him and his staff

Our experience ten-years plus experience with Dr. Joel Ackerman and the entire practice at Midwest Pain Management Center Pain Management Associates has always been literally excellent by the front office, clinical staff, and Dr. Ackerman. Specialists are not becoming harder and harder to find. I am so thankful for this practice and I very highly recommend Dr. Ackerman. He is empathetic, takes time to listen and gives careful consideration to what patients say and feel. He really cares and is a leader in the pain management field. I can’t fathom anyone being less than extremely satisfied with Dr. Ackerman and this practice.
