Getting referred to Dr. Balter was the single best thing that happened to me during my long years of suffering lower back pain after a ski accident. Dr. Balter is amazing! He’s wonderful at what he does, he's able to find what’s really the underlying issue with you that other doctors often miss. He’s thorough in his explanations of his treatments. I am always treated kindly like a member of the family by Dr. Balter and he has also surrounded himself with people who feel the same way. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Dr. Balter and his staff, and also (for the first time in a decade) look forward to a basically pain-free life without pain limiting my activities and meds clouding the mind.

I trust Dr. Balter to treat any of my pain problems. I've been around the block seeing many pain docs and Dr Balter was the most thorough evaluating me. He was the most careful to explain to me so I understood and felt comfortable making decisions about procedures that could have risks. I felt listened to and that's important to me, especially if there are bumps along the way. We decided to go ahead with the sacroiliac procedure because I did not want to live the rest of my life in pain and taking narcotics or have more surgery. The procedure went well and I am reclaiming and enjoying life again. We had a few minor setbacks, but Dr. Balter carefully helped me get over them too. Dr Balter’s the best and I am glad I trusted him to take care of me and share my experience with others in need of reclaiming their lives.

Dr. Balter is the best pain doctor I have met (and I have been around the block). He treated me as a person, NOT as a diagnosis. He took my pain symptoms seriously and did not label me a drug addict just because I had taken narcotics for many years. He accurately diagnosed my pain problem and after treatment, my pain was relieved enough that I got off of pain meds including narcotics and I was able to get my life back together again.
