“Fort Collins Museum of Discovery aims to create meaningful opportunities to learn, reflect, and have fun through hands-on and collections-based explorations in science and culture. The museum was established in 2008 through a public and private partnership between the City of Fort Collins Museum and nonprofit Discovery Science Center. The exhibition gallery invites you to discover the interconnectedness of everything from music and light to flora and fauna, to bicycles and agriculture, and beyond. The museum has 16,000 square feet of exhibits. Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is a merger between two existing institutions, a community history museum and an interactive science center. The museum's vision is to inspire inquisitive thinkers and encourage responsible stewardship of the future. Fort Collins Museum of Discovery affords free admission for children aged two and under.”
