“The McHenry Museum is a regional history museum in a grand former library building completed in 1912. The museum features exhibits showcasing the history of Modesto and Stanislaus County. The museum is a non-profit organization, and the proceeds from the store go toward publishing new/reprinted local histories. The McHenry Museum features a main exhibit room, a changing exhibit room, and an auditorium. The main floor of the museum can accommodate 200 guests, while the hall will accommodate 64 to 90 guests, depending on the chair/table configuration. The rental fee for the main floor is $800 for a minimum of four hours, and each additional hour is $131.
