The McHenry Museum is a regional history museum in a grand former library building completed in 1912. The museum features exhibits showcasing the history of Modesto and Stanislaus County. The museum is a non-profit organization, and the proceeds from the store go toward publishing new/reprinted local histories. The McHenry Museum features a main exhibit room, a changing exhibit room, and an auditorium. The main floor of the museum can accommodate 200 guests, while the hall will accommodate 64 to 90 guests, depending on the chair/table configuration. The rental fee for the main floor is $800 for a minimum of four hours, and each additional hour is $131. The rental fee for the auditorium is $250 for a minimum of two hours, and each additional hour is thirty-nine dollars ($39). You can shop at the museum store for books and gifts for all ages for any event. The McHenry Museum affords free admission to visitors.
