The McHenry museum is quite a find in Modesto! There is A LOT of history here, many small things and a few larger displays. A great assortment of stuff, you could spend a couple of hours just wandering through. They have one room that gets a new display every month or two, and they have some really wonderful displays that come through, well worth checking out. On another note, I held my wedding reception there a couple months ago.

I LOVE this place!! Its a great hidden gem on MJC West College Campus, most people are not aware that a museum is housed in this wonderful building. I enjoy it not only because I currently work here but it's a great learning environment and a fun place to be. Me personally my favorite part of the museum is a room called the Foucault's Pendulum room. I sing in this room often because the acoustic's are AMAZING !!.

My family enjoys spending a summer night at Thurman field watching the Modesto Nuts play baseball. The staff all are very friendly, the field and facilities are all very clean. There's lots of side fun activities that include kids of all ages. And it won't break your bank taking the entire family out for a night of fun!
