TOP 3 DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN REVIEWS
Anytime of year is a great time to visit the Desert Botanical Gardens, but if you happen to catch the thousands of cactus blooms in the spring, it's simply stunning! A mind blowing experience, seeing how MANY different cactus there are, varying shapes, textures, colors - and all on display in this amazing venue. If there's a music event going on after dusk, that's a great way to end the day, with a beautiful garden to sit in, a stunning desert mountain backdrop, and a glass of wine with cheese and crackers. This is truly a place where "the more you look, the more you see!" We've been a few times before, and will definitely be back again and again - it changes with every week, every season - and always fun to see!
The Desert Botanical Garden is a pretty special spot. I have a garden membership and have been to quite a few botanical gardens across the US, and this one is one of the better ones I’ve seen. The plants were gorgeous, the art installations were really tasteful, and the staff was super nice. Not only that, but we got to see the peak of their butterfly exhibit. Such an amazing experience. Definitely recommend checking this place out in late March. Seems that tons of stuff is in bloom, and the butterflies are in full swing. Can’t recommend it enough.
Such a fabulous place. We've been here several times and it's always different and always improving. We went into the butterfly habitat this time and saw some amazing butterflies. Great time of year right now as many of the plants are just starting to flower. Another couple or few weeks and they'll be more. Strongly encourage you to go and enjoy.

With nearly every animal species imaginable, it's a thrilling experience for wildlife enthusiasts of all ages. The zoo is beautifully designed with ample shaded areas, providing a comfortable and cool environment even on hotter days. What I particularly appreciated was the abundance of restrooms scattered conveniently throughout the zoo, making it easy to freshen up and keep little ones happy. The availability of water fountains also added to our comfort, ensuring we stayed hydrated as we explored. A highlight for the kids was definitely the fun rides, perfectly suited for children, adding a touch of excitement to their educational adventure. These thoughtful amenities make Phoenix Zoo not just a place to see animals, but a full-day experience where convenience and fun go hand in hand. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and knowledgeable, enhancing our visit with interesting facts and helpful tips. We use our Pogo Pass for our yearly FREE visit to the Phoenix Zoo and we totally and absolutely love it! The kids always have so much fun!! We love adding on the photo op, camel rides, carousel and of course all the food stands! We also love Zoo lights during the holiday season! Thank you Phoenix Zoo + Pogo Pass for allowing families to create memories!
The Phoenix Zoo was amazing. I traveled here from Houston, TX to see my daughter. We took my grandson to the Phoenix Zoo. He loved it. We all had a great time. The animal cages were really close up so you could see the various animals up close. The food at the Zoo was actually good. It's very family friendly and a great place.

TOP 3 MUSICAL INSTRUMENT MUSEUM REVIEWS
This is a wonderful experience for ALL ages!!! The Experience Exhibit is a fantastic room where children and adults can play with many of the instruments seen throughout the museum. Highly recommend stopping if you're looking for an, at your own pace, adventure. Almost all of the exhibits provide attendees the ability to listen to and see the instruments being played in their natural environment. For listening, the museum provides the wireless receiver and wired headset. We spent almost three hours here!!!
If you have the time and are interested in music, you need to see this place. The museum is very large and they have a huge collection of musical instruments from around the world. They cover every continent and country and culture regarding instruments used. They also have snippets of the music from every area. We spent 3 hours here and could have spent more time if permitted. Highly recommend.
WOW! Blown away by the attention to detail and inclusivity of musical instruments from all around the world, even Fiji!! My friend and I have been to a lot of museums and this is easily one of our favorites. The headset audio is really great and I loved the use of video education to supplement the instruments. We spent four+ hours enjoying ourselves. Grateful for the experience!
