This is honestly one of the only zoos I support. We've had a membership for two years now because of this and it's well worth it. All the animals here are well taken care of and have ample space for their needs. Everyone appears happy and healthy and some have even gotten used to the constant flux of people. Their membership program also allows you to get free/reduced entry to other accredited zoos and aquariums across the country that are working towards the same goal. Their conservation effort

We enjoy the DBG almost year round, but especially so in the winter when the Luminaria is open. All of the venues/music are wonderful and the ambiance is excellent. When there are new light installations, it is especially exciting! Have gone with family several times and always take my out-of-town guests there as well - always w/ delighted responses. The value of membership is greater than the cost, in my opinion, because you are also helping support a natural habitat and wonderful experience

My wife and I went to the museum on family free day and had an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and took time explaining cool features of specific work to us however the absolute best part of the museum is the Firefly Room! After the staff recommended we try it out we couldn't stop going through! Overall a really fun day!
