Just visited today. It was an all-around great experience. It helps if you are at least familiar with Of Mice and Men or other Steinbeck works. Not necessary but it increases one's appreciation if youve at least heard of the guy. I paid about $11 with a AAA discount. I suggest using the parking garage adjacent to the museum. The max fee is $4 for the entire day but they charge by the hour. I paid $1.50. You can enter it to the right of the museum via Main St. or Monterey Ave.

This zoo is amazing!!!!!! One of the best zoo experiences I have ever had, and only $12. Our tour guide was Seri (I probably didn't spell her name right, sorry!) and she was awesome. She knew exactly how to lure out the animals and answered all of our questions. We were able to get up close, only a couple feet away, from huge cats, monkeys, etc. Would definitely recommend this zoo to everyone. We paid the $5 extra to feed the elephants, which was also really cool!

I've been here twice now for Touch-A-Truck. The event was amazing, with so many volunteers. It filled the parking lot and surrounding fields. The grounds were well kept, and the bathrooms (in the stadium) were nice too.
