The Mob Museum is incredible. It is jam-packed with information, displays, images, films of the history of the mob in Las Vegas. It’s a journey through time starting with the railway workers gambling halls to the 90s and how the crime and the casinos evolved. There are several floors of displays, I loved the 60s and the 70s eras with the Rat Pack and Elvis years. The courtroom exhibition and film is also really good. There are various ticket levels to purchase, if time allows take part in the speakeasy. Be sure to leave enough time to thoroughly explore the museum as the artefacts are amazing, they even have Al Capone’s pistol. 2-3 hours is a good amount of time. There is parking onsite adjacent to the entrance.
My favorite thing we did! I didn't knew what to expect and wow what an interesting place! Definitely not for kids (awesome), in an old courthouse with a speakeasy in the basement! Staff were the friendliest I encountered throughout the whole trip. I'm going back on my next trip for sure.
It was a great experience learning how the mob really operates. Our church group did the scavenger hut competition, which means look, listen, read, and learn. The coffee shop was a good pick me up. Sitting in the courtroom was awesome. I highly recommend this place. There is more to Las Vegas than casinos.
