I have been seeing Dr Faridi regarding a mood disorder for over 30 years. I have found him to be insightful, helpful, and very knowledgeable as to the usefulness of different prescription medications. He is nondirective. He let's people figure out how to solve their own problems as the stabilizing medications take effect. He may not spend a lot of time with a patient's med check but most people do not realize that charting patient progress, paperwork, insurance claims, pharmacy contact and so on also take time. It sounded to me as if the previous reviewer would be better served with a counselor/psychologist rather than a psychiatrist/neurologist as is Dr Faridi. Dr Faridi has met my needs very well.

Dr. Faridi is a great doctor, I have been with him 10+ years. He is very understanding and he knows what medications to put me on that work. I would recommend him to any one.

Best doctor! If you want someone to talk to about your problems go to a therapist.

I've had a very hard time trying to find a psychiatrist that would listen to me. I've been off and on psych meds since I was 15yrs old. Now, at 53 I FINALLY have the combination that works for me. It's one of the best feelings! I just needed a small adjustment to be perfect. After years I know my body and knew what I needed. I asked specifically for what I needed and kept getting switched meds. It was very frustrating. Dr Sarwar not only listened to me but actually suggested exactly what I needed! He also explained it in depth for me and why I needed it. I finally found my forever Dr for meds. Anyone struggling, I would highly recommended Smart Minds.
