3 Best Psychiatrists in Tempe, AZ

We've been attending the center for several months now. Since day one, we've had professional, kind and courteous treatment. It was challenging finding a center that my son is comfortable with and then, of course, a therapist that he's comfortable with. All the ladies that we've dealt with, from admin to therapist, have all been a pleasure to work with. I would recommend the Transitions Center to anyone who is looking for treatment. It is a clean, comfortable environment, that offers sincere, effective treatment.

Great experience every time with transition center. The front desk person is very personable and is knowledgeable about the services Offered. They are always attentive to my needs. For example, there was a little bit longer of a wait than usual, so they handed out water bottles to everyone to make sure we were happy. The doctors and nurses were all helpful and answered any question that I had when I had them. I would highly recommend coming here if you need a psychiatrist or have had any issues with substance abuse.

Great doc. I highly recommended him.

Dr. Marwah really helped me in a very difficult moment. She cared about the health of my body instead of just prescribing medications to momentarily attenuate mental states. She is also very caring about my stories but also straightforward when it is needed. I am very grateful with Dr. Marwah and I am continuing my treatment to build better habits and to manage stress. Her staff is also very helpful and efficient.

I have been seeing Dr. Marwa for 10+ years now. She is only able to help you as far as you're willingness is to sharing and being honest with her. My experience with her has been nothing but professional. The more I got to know her the more I felt comfortable sharing with her. In doing so, I have been able to see great compassion from her and a true heart for helping any way she can. I wish that I would've felt this comfortable way earlier in the time that I've been seeing her.

I was referred to Dr. Marwah by my therapist to discuss the possibility of taking some medication for anxiety. I'm so glad I came here! Dr. Marwah was very understanding in my hesitation to take medicine and worked with me on trying the smallest dose possible. The first month, it made me unbelievably sleepy. So I went back and discussed it with her and she helped me choose a better time to take the medicine and encouraged me to be patient with the adjustment. So I listened and was patient and I finally fully adjusted. I feel soooo much better with Lexapro! It's made such a big difference and I'm very thankful for Dr. Marwah and her staff for being so supportive!

I've had multiple psychiatrists and no one was as helpful as Dr. Narvaiz. He not only listened to me, but he openly shared my diagnosis once it was concluded and built a game plan with me on how I wanted to go forward with treatment. He is obviously experienced, so he can tell when you are truly needing help.

Dr, Narvaiz has been seeing me for a little over one year. His office is clean, his staff is friendly, the wait times are next to nothing, and he has saved my life. I recently checked myself into the hospital for treatment and was diagnosed with the wrong diagnosis, Upon my release my symptoms actually got worse and during my stay I was seen by at least 6 different doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists and was released by these doctors that had everything wrong. Dr Narvaiz was the only doctor on the outside to diagnose me properly and put me on the correct medication that totally and 100% eliminated all of my issues.

Dr Narvaiz is extremely helpful and his office staff are efficient and very easy to work with.
