“Dr. Angela Klein earned her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She finished her clinical internship at the University of South Carolina Counseling and Human Development Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She focuses on treating disordered eating, self-harm, suicidality, and pervasive anxiety and mood disorders, as well as substance use, in adolescents, families, and adults. She practices at Centered Ground. They offer dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and other psychological services supported by research, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), combining concrete strategies with Eastern philosophies, particularly mindfulness.
