This park is great for doing some trail running. There’s a dirt path that goes all around the Basin and park side. Lots of people come here to hang out from what I saw. Parking is easy and plentiful. There are also food trucks that hang around here so if you get hungry you got a few choices. Overall the park feels safe and clean. Sure there are some interesting individuals but everyone keeps to themselves. One thing to note is that both Google and Apple Maps will direct you to the entrance on Lampson Ave. Do Not go there. Instead go through the entrance on Haster St. The entrance on Lampson has tire spikes and is Exit only. The one on Haster is entrance but I have seen people exit through it as well. In any case it’s a very nice park with lots of space. Great for doing a run, playing sports or having a little picnic.
Quiet place to walk around a small lake. Grounds are well maintained with wide path. The neighborhood which backs up to the park has beautiful yards with flowers and fruit trees. Restroom is locked but there are two Port-o-cans and a hand washing station. Single hoop basketball court is calling me. Nice covered picnic areas for small or large groups. The birds like here especially the hummingbird.
This is an awesome park. It has a great asphalt track for walking or jogging.
