I love this park, have been going for years. I use to take my kids and I still enjoy going on my own. It is a great place to walk /run/ride. The paved trail around the lake is a 1.5 mile loop, and there are also trails leading off toward the north and south, connected to the River Trail. I like swimming there in the summer. There is also a dog park at the rear. There is a lot to do, or you can just sit and enjoy the view. It's a Lansing gem.
Me and my dogs absolutely love this park! It's about 1.5 miles from our house so we like walking there and back on the river trail. The splash pad and playground look great for people that have little kids, too.
Good park with lots of parking. Definitely a gem hidden on the south side of Lansing. Great spot for walking, fishing, and sledding. Great spot to catch a good sunset too!
